Counseling

Sister Elizabeth Fiorite
Sister Elizabeth FioriteWorking as a social services counselor, Sister Elizabeth helps the visually impaired at Independent Living for the Adult Blind in Jacksonville, Florida. She takes part in group and individual discussions on coping topics, coordinates a support group, and takes part in the “Women of Vision” project. The project helps the visually impaired become artists through working with clay, basket weaving, and other crafts. “This project has been extremely rewarding” said Sister Elizabeth. “The arts are energizing and life giving for all of us . . . We walk in God’s space, and, at least for a time, there is no darkness, there are no walls, there is no fear.”
