The ministry of preaching and teaching has been revealed to Sister Colleen in many new dimensions as the regional director of mission leadership for the Providence Health System. In her mission leadership role, she “makes visible the healing presence of Jesus” in four acute care hospitals and five long-term care facilities in the Southern California region. She helps employees understand and celebrate their role in fulfilling the mission and values of the organization, overseeing all spiritual care departments and being responsible for the biomedical and organizational ethics committees.
