Sister Chris Feagan
As Director of Hispanic Ministry in Marshalltown, Iowa, Sister Chris Feagan works with her parish community to break through ethnic barriers. “By coming together in non-threatening ways, we are building bridges rather than reinforcing walls,” said Sister Chris. She has taught two Spanish classes at the local community college. She knows many people who are willing to open their arms and hearts to welcome “new Iowans” and are willing to be stretched and changed by them.
Sister Mary Alice Neylon
As a pastoral minister to Spanish speaking parishioners, Sister Mary Alice shares her time and talents with members of St. Joseph Parish in Muskogee, Oklahoma. She teaches adult English and Bible study classes, plans and prepares a Spanish newsletter, and prepares parents for their children’s First Communion and Reconciliation. “Yes, the Spirit is very much alive here,” said Sr. Mary Alice.
