Sister Marilyn Aiello
At age 37, Sister Marilyn began medical school with the intention of serving only those with little access to health care. While a medical student, she was instrumental in beginning Franklin Health Center in an impoverished area of Mobile, Alabama. After finishing her residency in 1981, she helped establish a health clinic in the Mississippi Delta, an area of extreme poverty and medical need. Currently, Sister Marilyn lives and works in the Chicago area.

Sister Ellen Gaynor
Sister Ellen is a medical oncologist at the Cardinal Bernardin Cancer Center of Loyola University in Chicago, Illinois, and a professor of medicine at the university’s Stritch School of Medicine. Her practice is limited to the treatment of patients with cancer. Sister Ellen is actively involved in clinical research trials, which seek to define safer and more effective treatment for cancer patients.
