Meet Our Associates

Laurie Bartoletti’s
Dedication to Dominican Mission

by Associate Annette J. Clemens

Associate Juliana and Laurie Bartoletti Laurie Bartoletti has been one of the longer-term Associates of Sinsinawa, having made her commitment 15 years ago. She first encountered the community through Sister Alice Ann Byrne, OP. Laurie feels embraced by the Dominican community, and she has retained this bond through her many years as an Associate and in her role as a Northwest Area Promoter.

Having spent several years in the northwest region of the United States, Laurie has achieved an impressive academic record. She earned a bachelor’s degree in religious studies at Gonzaga University, an MA in religious education, and a doctorate in ministry at the Graduate Theological Foundation. She currently lives in Montana where she is a grade school counselor in the town of Sheridan.

Laurie is proud to announce that her daughter, Juliana, will become an Associate this October at the Annual Gathering. This bond with the Dominicans is summed up in Laurie’s comment, “After many encounters with a variety of religious orders throughout the northwest, I am dedicated to the Sinsinawa Dominican mission and vision.”
