Mission Statement
The Sinsinawa Dominican Ecology Committee believes in the interconnectedness of all creation. We strive to live with reverence for the mystery of being, with gratitude for the gift of life, and with humility regarding the human place in nature. We are called to engage ourselves and others in a lifelong learning process of our place in the greater community of life and the responsibility that flows from this. We are hopeful that this will lead to transformation of ourselves and of all relationships within the unfolding process of the universe. Affirmed October 2004
History
The Ecology Committee was formed in the spring of 2002. The committee brings education and advocacy to the Congregation on environmental issues.
