From the Prioress
Office of the Prioress of the Congregation Dear Benefactors, Sponsored Institution Leaders, Associates, Coworkers, and Sisters,
Our gratitude to all of you who are so much a part of our “future full of hope.”
-
You, our benefactors, enable us to continue reaching out to the poor and oppressed while at the same time providing for our retired Sisters who continue in uncompensated ministries. You also enable us to meet the ever-increasing health care costs required to meet the needs of our frail Sisters. Know that the affirmation of your generous contributions strengthens our commitment as vowed religious to preach the Gospel in word and action. We thank God and we thank you for your gifts. We are also grateful for your responses to our recent survey. We will keep our information current.
-
You, the leaders of our sponsored institutions, carry on the works we began and make them your own. Grateful for your marvelous competence, we thank God and we thank you for your dedication and commitment to assuring a strong and viable future for our/your Dominican institutions.
-
You, our Associates, bring new life to the vision and legacy of St. Dominic who began his work with lay people. Your commitment to the Dominican charism expands and enriches our Dominican Family. We thank God and we thank you for your relationship with us and for your desire to preach the Gospel in word and action, as Dominic did.
-
You, our coworkers, join us in the day-to-day activities that support our life and mission. Your labors make possible wonderful care of our Sisters, continuation of our ministry to others, and our tradition of welcoming others. We thank God and we thank you for your many gifts, for your commitment to the mission which we are about, and for all that you do so well.
-
You, our Sisters, the source of life for this annual report, are our hope for the future. Your commitment to live as vowed religious and to preach the Gospel in word and action continues the life of Dominican Sisters of Sinsinawa and strengthens the Dominican Family. As elected leaders, we thank God and we thank you for who you are and for all that you do.
The many blessings of this past year, evident in the various sections of this annual report, attest to the collaborative efforts that support our life and mission. We thank God and we thank each of you for a very good year and for our future full of hope.
Prayerfully,
Patricia Mulcahey, OP
