Catching Fire From Dominic's Vision
St. Augustine Church Renovation

During fiscal year ’06-’07, restoration work began on St. Augustine Church in New Diggings, WI. Built by Sinsinawa Dominican founder Father Samuel Mazzuchelli in 1844, this structure has withstood the test of time and is his only church that remains as he originally designed it. The Mazzuchelli Assembly of 4th Degree Knights of Columbus, Lancaster, WI, have raised funds for this amazing restoration transformation from weather-beaten and worn down (left) to wonderful and worthy of praise (right).
