Standing on the Shoulders . . .

A decade ago when I was discussing with Sister Candida Lund, OP, which school I should attend for doctoral studies, she was quite firm: “You will go to the University of Chicago”―her alma mater. And I did. On March 20, I will graduate wearing her cap and gown given to me by her family upon her passing. I am humbled and honored. And I recognize that I stand on the shoulders of all our Dominican giants.
We will celebrate with a Mass and pot luck party at Catholic Theological Union (CTU) on March 21. All are welcome. Details will follow on SinsinOP.
