Casavant Organ Returns
Sisters at Sinsinawa Mound celebrated the return of the Casavant organ from the Casavant factory in Québec, Canada. The refurbishing of the organ in Queen of the Rosary Chapel began in September 2008 with the organ being dismantled and sent to Canada. It returned in February 2009 and was put back together in time to be played for Easter Mass. Sisters who gathered in the foyer as the organ was returned include (from left) Marie Juan Maney, Mary Ellen Winston, Teresa Auad, Barbara Hutfless, Mary Marie, Marie Virginia Walters, Elizabeth Dunn, Mary Howard Johnstone, and Jo Ann Timmerman.
