Open House at DU’s McGreal Center

Sr. Janet Welsh addresses the crowd at the open house.
The McGreal Center at Dominican University (DU) held an open house celebration in May to thank all those who had made the center possible and to welcome visitors of the newly renovated offices. Interim Director Janet Welsh, OP, and Research Assistant Mary McNulty, OP, welcomed university staff members and others to the new space. Dominican Leadership Conference (DLC) Executive Director Mary Ellen O’Grady, OP, helped lead a blessing for those who will participate in the center’s mission of study and research. DU President Donna Carroll and Vice President for Mission and Ministry Diane Kennedy, OP, also led parts of the prayer. “The McGreal Center is intended to serve the whole Dominican Family: friars, sisters, nuns, and laity, and this space will offer a special welcome to everyone,” said Sr. Mary Ellen.
