Since the annual report of last year, we have welcomed 13 Sisters to St. Dominic Villa, which means, of course, that we have sent 13 Villa Sisters home to God. Our nursing staff, cooks, cleaners, maintenance, and activity personnel as well as pastoral staff give loving service to our family “treasures.” Fathers John Gerlach, OP, and Jack Risley, OP, minister faithfully to the spiritual needs of all. Those visiting the Villa for the first time comment on its beauty, its cleanliness, and the atmosphere of peace that permeates the facility. The Villa is a home; a convent; and a nursing home licensed within the state as a skilled care facility, and thereby eligible for Medicare and Medicaid funding.

Sister Arturo Cranston, OP
