Sinsinawa Mound
Center offers a variety of ways for people of all ages to participate
in our music program.
Civic Chorus
The Civic Chorus, under the direction of Sister Marie Juan Maney, is
open to all singers in the tri-state area. Soprano,
alto, tenor, and bass singers are all welcome. Semesters begin in
September and January, practicing every Tuesday from 7 to 9 p.m.
There is a $10 fee per semester.
Singing
Seniors
The Singing Seniors meet every Wednesday
from 2 to 3:15 p.m. If you are between the ages of
65 and 100 (or somewhere close), please join this wonderful singing
sensation to learn healthy breathing exercises, light dancing,
and body movements. Membership is free. For more information,

Private Instruction
Sinsinawa Dominican Sisters offer private instruction in the following
areas: piano, voice, strings, and organ. There is a $10 fee for
a 30-minute lesson.
Summer Organ Concert Series
June, July, August
Every Wednesday throughout the summer, the Sinsinawa Mound
Outreach Music Department hosts organ recitals performed by guest
musicians in Queen of the Rosary Chapel at Sinsinawa Mound.
The Summer Organ Concert series is free and open to the
public, beginning at 7 p.m. If you are interested in sponsoring
or playing for one of our organ concerts in the future,

Sinsinawa Strings
Sinsinawa Strings shares the gift and blessings of music through
study, enjoyment, and performance. Over the years, the orchestra
has evolved and grown. Members value the experience of making music
together because they are inclusive and patient with all levels
of musical ability and desire to share the beauty that their common
effort creates.
