Professed in 1949, she taught at Bethlehem Academy, Faribault, MN; St. Mary, Cheyenne, WY; and St. John Cathedral, Milwaukee. Sr. Jeanne served as principal at St. Joseph Cathedral, Sioux Falls, SD; Queen of Peace, Burbank, IL; and Dominican, Whitefish Bay, WI, and as dean of girls at O’Gorman Catholic High School, Sioux Falls, SD. She served the Sinsinawa Dominican Congregation as prioress provincial of the Southwest Province and ministered as adult education director at Epiphany Parish, Oklahoma City, OK, and St. Paul the Apostle Parish, Richardson, TX. Sr. Jeanne was the assistant director of the Office of Religious Education for the Diocese of Beaumont, TX, and spiritual director and scripture teacher at the motherhouse, Sinsinawa. Sr. Marcella spent nine years as a youth minister at Centro San Martin, Cochabamba, Bolivia, and founded the Apostolic Volunteer program in 1973, which is now Dominican Volunteers USA. She served the Sinsinawa Dominican Congregation as vicaress provincial of the Northwest Province and coordinator of the Preaching for the Foreign Mission Fund.
