Several Dominican Sisters and Associates of Sinsinawa participated in the Rally for Democracy sponsored by the We All Belong campaign by MICAH on July 14 before the start of the Republican National Convention in Milwaukee. Julie Schwab, OP (center), spoke at a press conference, saying, “I am here today to publicly proclaim that we oppose white Christian nationalism. It conflicts with our core values of truth, justice, and compassion. . . . We work toward a society where everyone is valued and respected, and no one is excluded.
