The Sinsinawa Gallery is hosting “The Serious Whimsey of Gail Chavenelle” from January 9-February 24, 2023.  The exhibit includes Chavenelle’s metal figures of people, animals, nature, from a few inches high to as large as 60” as well as cutout framed pictures.  Bright colors, polished steel, rusted steel, and recycled swimming pool siding make for a colorful and delightful show.

The gallery is open from 9:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. seven days a week.

An artist reception will be held in the gallery on Sunday, January 29, from 1 – 3 p.m., open to the public. Light refreshments will be served.

Artist: Gail Chavenelle is a local artist from Dubuque, Iowa.
