Fall Book Discussion: Neither Wolf nor Dog
November 6 6:30 pm - 8:00 pm
Against an unflinching backdrop of contemporary reservation life and the majestic spaces of the western Dakotas, Kent Nerburn’s powerful Neither Wolf nor Dog: On Forgotten Roads with an Indian Elder tells the story of two men, one white and one Indian, struggling to find a common voice. Nerburn insightfully takes us past the myths and stereotypes of the Native American experience, revealing an America few ever see.
“This is one of those rare works that once you’ve read it, you can never look at the world, or people, the same way again.” — American Indian College Fund
