Fall Forest Bathing
October 27 10:00 am - 4:00 pm
Join us at the Mound for a fall Forest Bathing experience where we bathe in the good medicine of Mother Earth. Nature and Forest Therapy, also called Forest Bathing, is a slow, sensory focused walk with the land. You will be guided through a series of invitations that help you connect with your interior self as well as the world around you.
Thursday, October 27, 10 a.m. to 12 noon or 2 – 4 p.m. Check-in will take place at the Main Entrance where you will then proceed outdoors.
$25/person. Registration deadline is Wednesday, October 26 at noon.
Presenter: Emelia Sautter is a Certified Nature & Forest Therapy Guide who has her own practice in Cedar Rapids, IA called “Good Medicine.” Her heart’s work includes spending time with the land and providing opportunities for humans to connect with self and with our native relatives. Emelia believes that Forest Therapy helps us fall more wholly in love with ourselves and the world around us.
