Have you ever apologized because your mind or your heart was ‘somewhere else’ than where your body was at the time? When we’re pulled in many directions, we can feel like we’re in the ‘middle of nowhere’. Let’s explore how to regain our sense of presence, of mindfulness, of being attentive to where we are, who we are with, what is happening – our sense of being ‘now here’.

Presenter: Pat Pintens is a native of northern Wisconsin. She and her many siblings were raised on a small dairy farm. She credits this for her love of both vegetable and flower gardening, walks in the woods, berry picking and silent spots. Pat has served parishes as a catechist, Director of Religious Education, Campus Minister, Parish Director and choir member. She holds a B.S. in Home Economics Education, Masters in Theology and Masters in Christian Spirituality. Pat dedicates half-time to Marywood as a presenter and doing off-site programs. She is also available as a certified spiritual director.
