This years marks the 27th annual Organ Concert Series. Concerts feature organists from Austria and Prague, as well as, Iowa, Illinois, Michigan, Nebraska, Texas, and Wisconsin. Concerts are held every Wednesday in June, July and August at 7 p.m. in the Queen of the Rosary Chapel. These concerts are free and open to the public
Featured Organist: David Troiano
David Troiano of Grosse Point Park, MI, has appeared throughout the United States, Canada, Europe and Mexico and is a frequent recitalist in the organ literature of the Spanish baroque. He collaborates annually with Finnish violinist Tapani Yrjölä for concerts in the United States and Europe. Troiano is music director for St. Clare of Montefalco Church, Grosse Pointe Park, and directs several other vocal groups. Also a lyric tenor, he performs in opera, oratorio, orchestral concerts, operettas, zarzuela and American art songs. Troiano earned the doctor of musical arts from the University of Michigan where he studied organ with Marilyn Mason.
