The Matisee Piano Trio presents a concert in honor of Fr. Samuel and our Founding Sisters, featuring music from Italy (Corelli), by a woman composer (Fanny Mendessohn), and a special jazzy “American” piece by Paul Schoenfield.

This concert if free and open to the public. Face masks required.

The Matisee Trio members are Katie Wolf, Violin; Anthony Arnone, Cello; and Liang-yu Wang, Piano. Katie is the niece of our late Sr. Jean Richter; both she and Anthony are music faculty at the University of Iowa and have performed with symphonies, chamber music groups, recorded, and taught throughout the United States. Liang-yu is the collaborative pianist for Northwestern University’s Bienen School of Music and has an equal array of teaching, recording, and performance experiences.
