Virtual Lenten Retreat with Dan Schutte
February 17 8:00 am - April 1 4:00 pm$75.00
Lent is often a time for parishes to make a retreat or parish mission. This program of eighteen music reflection videos by Dan Schutte provides a way to do that virtually. The video series will be accessible beginning on Ash Wednesday and end on Holy Thursday as we begin the Triduum Liturgies.
On Thursday, March 25 at 7 p.m. CDT we will have a Zoom conversation with Dan.
$75/person. Registration includes a downloadable retreat workbook/journal to help reflect on your experience and offer a place to keep notes to make your reflection more meaningful. Registration will remain open until Wednesday, March 10.
The day before Ash Wednesday, you will receive a link to the materials. Your access to the videos will extend all through Lent and only expire on Holy Thursday, the end of the Lenten season. Even though the materials are organized by the six weeks of Lent, you can watch and pray them at your own pace. Dan suggests you find a time in your daily routine that’s conducive to quiet and solitude, when you’re less likely to be disturbed. Take your time. Beauty never hurries and neither does grace.
