What I Stand For Is What I Stand On: A Retreat on Wendell Berry
February 29 10:00 am - 3:00 pm$50.00
The farmer-poet Wendell Berry (1934-) is arguably today’s most important, prophetic, and interesting writer on matters of land, health, community, and spirituality. This retreat will celebrate Berry’s life and words, contemplatively delving into his importance for our precarious age. Our time together will include talks, discussion, silence, and, weather depending, contemplative time outdoors.
Saturday, February 29, 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.
$50 registration fee. Registration deadline is February 21.
Facilitator: Eric Anglada (Ecological Programming Coordinator)
