Women of the Bible Drama – cancelled
June 23, 2020 7:00 pm - 8:30 pm
Women of the Bible is a dramatic presentation told through several diverse voices of women for the Old and New Testaments. Anita Gutschick reaches back across the ages to vividly portray biblical women. Throughout the past 18 years, we have seen several different women come to life through this truly unique experience.
This year Anita will be performing her program titled: Too Old, Too Busy, Too Sinful (Sarah, Martha, Sinful Woman)
~ Sarah hobbles into the room and has a big story to tell filled with laughter and sorrow. Its about having faith to “go out” when God calls, but it is also about not running ahead of God’s plan.
~ Martha comes scurrying through the audience, worried about all the details of serving her guests.. But she is missing the much bigger picture.
~ A sinful lifestyle can makes a woman feel worthless. The Sinful Woman is crying tears of shame. But at the feet of Jesus, the Sinful Woman confesses her sinfulness and receives forgiveness. She leaves crying tears of joy.
This program appeals to both men and women. The gospel message is vividly presented.
Tuesday, June 23, 2020, 7 p.m.
