Women of the Bible Drama

Women of the Bible is a dramatic presentation told through several diverse voices of women for the Old and New Testaments. Anita Gutschick reaches back across the ages to vividly portray biblical women. Throughout the past 18 years, we have seen several different women come to life through this truly unique experience.

Dan Schutte Concert – Rescheduled

We are happy to announce that we have rescheduled Dan Schutte's concert for Sunday, June 14 at 2 p.m. We hope to use this opportunity to come together in celebration and to give thanks to our God for surviving through this pandemic.

Expansive Horizons of Faith

We are excited to have Diarmuid O'Murchu returning to Sinsinawa Mound Center for a retreat on the Expansive Horizons of Faith in the 21st century. In this age of mass information, new wisdom and insight comes our way on a daily basis, leading reflective people to question almost everything and seek out deeper meaning for faith and spirituality. This retreat will explore the ensuing challenges.

Praying & Painting Your Icon

September 17 8:00 am - September 20 5:00 pm

This retreat will include morning presentations on the history of iconography; origin of icon painting; material used in iconography (difference between woodenboard & wall); first icon painters; most famous icon painters; materials used in modern iconography; usage of ancient techniques in present time; and icon painting in traditional style. After the morning sessions, you will learn the process of icon painting and will be painting you own icon.
