Sinsinawa Steppers Sponsor Alzheimer’s Walk Sept. 26
The Sinsinawa Steppers will be walking in the fourth annual Mound Memory Walk from 1 p.m. to 2:30 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 26, at Sinsinawa Mound. The walk supports people with Alzheimer’s and dementia, those caring for them, and area support programs. This year we walk to honor Sister Kathleen (Janetta) Loughrin, OP (1943-2019), and Joel Gorun (1941-2019). Sinsinawa Memory Café and Brain Health Series are just two of the programs that this walk supports. To join Team Sinsinawa Steppers, go online to support.alzwisc.org/site/TR/Events/General.
This is our monthly Memory Café for September, where people gather with others who are experiencing memory loss, mild cognitive impairment, early Alzheimer’s or other dementia, along with a caregiver, to share common interests and friendship. Memory Café is open to anyone in the tristate area and is free. Please have a caregiver present.
