Printmaker exhibits monotypes at Sinsinawa Art Gallery
Sinsinawa Art Gallery presents “Falling Away/Moving Ahead” April 4-June 2. Helen Reznicek is a printmaker whose work is always quite personal and expressive, and the motion of creating the images is often evident in the finished pieces. Her current body of work is done in a combination of monotype and relief prints, focusing on the subtractive nature of these methods. Reznicek has had artistic endeavors in Cadillac and Grand Rapids, MI; Omaha, NE; Aberdeen, WA; and Portland, OR, as well as Jalisco, Mexico, and Perugia, Italy. Her works are in private collections all over the United States.
An opening reception will be held 5:30-7:30 p.m. Friday, April 5.
