Winter Solstice

Honor the Winter Solstice

Snowy scene of a road and sun in the sky.

Join us at Sinsinawa Mound to honor the longest night and shortest day of the year. Praying with the Seasons: Winter Solstice will be held from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. Friday, Dec. 21. We will celebrate the Solstice through ritual and contemplation. Participants will have the opportunity to engage in several types of spiritual exercises. This session will take place mostly indoors and is part of our ongoing series Exploring a Contemplative Ecology. Facilitators are Ecological Program Coordinator Eric Anglada and Care for Creation Coordinator Sister Christin Tomy, OP. A freewill offering will be accepted. No registration is required.

For more information, contact Anglada at 608-748-4411 or via email at or visit our website at
