Women of the Passion
Retreat Brings Forth Women of Passion Narratives
Biblical women of the Passion narratives will be brought to life by Sister Mary Ellen O’Dea, OP, at Sinsinawa Mound’s Women of the Passion retreat March 13-14, 9 a.m.-3 p.m. each day. O’Dea, a lifelong student of the Scriptures, reflects on the lives of these women, whose names have often been excluded or whose lives have been hidden, yet whose spirits speak to us today of our own spiritual journey. Each woman mentors our evolving consciousness of Jesus’ resurrection and his spirit living within and among us.
The registration deadline is March 6, and the fee is $104 for an overnight guest and $70 for a commuter. For more information, contact Guest Services at 608-748-4411 or visit our website at www.sinsinawa.org/moundcenter.
Sinsinawa Mound, the motherhouse for the Sinsinawa Dominican Sisters, is located in southwest Wisconsin on County Road Z, off Highway 11, about five miles northeast of Dubuque.
