In October, we attended the Religious Formation Conference (RFC) 2019 Congress “Being Signs of Courageous Hope” in Louisville, KY. We joined Sisters, brothers, and priests who minister in formation and leadership plus Associate directors who joined the RFC for the first time. I had the opportunity in October to attend the annual National Dominican Associate Directors/Liaisons (NDAD) Gathering at the Motherhouse of the Dominican Sisters of Sparkill, NY. Ten Dominican congregations were represented by their Associate directors and Council liaisons at this gathering: Adrian, Amityville, Blauvelt, Caldwell, Hope, Racine, Sinsinawa, Sparkill, Springfield, and Tacoma. 10TH ANNIVERSARY OF FT. BENNING WITNESS

The year 2019 marked the 30th anniversary of the murders of six Jesuit priests and two women coworkers at the University of Central America (UCA) in San Salvador, El Salvador, on Nov. 16, 1989. Their murders were committed by the elite Atlacatl battalion trained at the United States Army School of the Americas (SOA) at Ft. Benning in Columbus, GA. Read more . . .
