Visiting St. John Parish
In late November, Nicole Reich, OP; Quincy Howard, OP; Christin Tomy, OP; and Candidate Julie Rambin (pictured from left) traveled to Green Bay, WI. While there, they visited St. John the Evangelist Parish, which was founded in 1831 by Father Samuel Mazzuchelli, OP. St. John the Evangelist is the oldest continuous Catholic congregation in the state of Wisconsin. It has historically been known as a diverse, vibrant community of faith in the downtown area. The parish’s website states, “Side by side, we share the light of Christ as we welcome, shelter, and serve without judgment, promoting peace and justice for all people.”
