Room Dedicated to Sr. Kathleen

Sister Kathleen LoughrinIn November, St. James School in Madison, WI, honored Kathleen Loughrin, OP (1943–2019), who served as principal and teacher there for 25 years by naming the school’s resource room after her. St. James Pastor Monsignor Tom Baxter unveiled the renovated resource room as the Sister Kathleen Loughrin Resource Room. “As a longtime friend and coworker with Sister Kathleen, we gather to dedicate this beautifully renovated school resource room to her memory,” he said. “With great faith, love, and dedication, she guided our school as principal for 22 years. She was a woman who poured her heart and soul into directing faculty and students to make great strides in learning and to become dedicated disciples of Jesus Christ, eager to work with him in creating a better world.” Judy Aubry, OP, represented the Dominican Sisters of Sinsinawa at the blessing and dedication ceremony.
