Edgewood High School (EHS), Madison, WI, joined Catholic communities nationwide to commemorate Catholic Sisters Week March 8–14. The school community honored the women who dedicate their lives in service to the world as Catholic Sisters. Posters commemorating the week were hung around school and announcements were made each day honoring the Dominican Sisters of Sinsinawa who founded our school and who continue to support and inspire our mission. Students also wrote cards to Sisters in the Madison area to show our gratitude and remembrance for all their contributions to the Church, society, and the world. EHS was especially blessed during the week with the visits from Mary Rathert, OP; Judy Aubry, OP; Mary Ellen O’Grady, OP; Priscilla Torres, OP; and Maureen McDonnell, OP. We will be forever grateful to these Sisters and to Catholic Sisters the world over.
