Sharing Vibrant Dominican Life
St. Dominic Villa at Sinsinawa is an amazing place. Designated as our skilled care facility, it is truly home for our Sisters where Dominican life is alive and well. Midwest Kindred Spirits Meet
Midwest Kindred Spirits (MKS) met Sept. 13–14, 2019, at Siena Center, the motherhouse of the Racine Dominican community in Racine, WI, to celebrate their 35th anniversary. Midwest Kindred Spirits is comprised of Associate directors and liaisons from 22 religious communities in six states across the upper Midwest. Read more . . .

Sisters in El Paso Welcome Immigrants
When we got to the Casa de Refugiado Center, we were told that last night the border patrol dropped off people at 9:30 p.m. This was highly unusual. It takes hours to do intake and get people settled, especially families with young children. Read more . . .

“Under budget, on time, and lovely.” When any long-term project can be described that way, it is a blessing. And so it was for the renovation of Father Samuel Mazzuchelli’s [OP] little house in Benton, WI, which he had built in 1852 and where he lived for the last 12 years of his life until his death in 1864.
