Noel at the Mound: A Christmas Concert Series

Set within the serene beauty of Sinsinawa Mound’s St. Clara Chapel, the Noel Christmas Concert Series brings together accomplished musicians for a week of artistry, reflection, and seasonal joy. Through a rich tapestry of sacred and traditional holiday music, audiences are invited to rediscover the wonder of the season. The lineup of local talent includes:

  • Dec. 16, 7 p.m. Dubuque Senior High School Madrigal Singers
  • Dec. 17, 7 p.m. Kristina Castaneda + Shawn Healy
  • Dec. 18, 7 p.m. Winter Strings: Violinists Carolyn Van De Velde + Madlen H. Breckbill + violist Micah Behr + cellist Philip Bergman
  • Dec. 19, 7 p.m. Americana Band

The concerts Tuesday to Friday are free and open to the public. Freewill donations are gratefully accepted.

  • Special Ticketed Performance – Dec. 20, 2 p.m.Christmas Solo Piano Experience with Jim McDonough
    International Steinway Artist Jim McDonough brings his celebrated piano arrangements of holiday classics and all-time favorites to Sinsinawa Mound for the first time. This performance also marks the inaugural appearance of an international Steinway artist on the Mound’s historic Steinway concert grand piano.
