Bringing the Heart of Opening Doors to Sinsinawa
Opening Doors understands that not everyone is able to visit the shelter in person—but meaningful connection to the mission should always be accessible. That’s why Opening Doors is hosting a customized mission presentations for us this January!
What to Expect: During a 30–45 minute presentation, the Opening Doors team will share:
- Mission & Impact: An overview of who Opening Doors is, who is served, and how Opening Doors supports women and children in the Dubuque community.
- Virtual Tour: A behind-the-scenes look at the shelter, transitional housing, and supportive services—brought directly to your space or screen.
- Stories of Hope: Real stories that highlight the resilience of the women and children served and the vital role community support plays in their success.
- Ways to Engage: Simple, practical ways your group can get involved, including volunteering, donation drives, advocacy, workplace giving, and more.
- Why Organizations Participate
- Build Understanding: Gain deeper insight into housing instability and how local solutions create lasting change.
- Strengthen Connection: Encourage meaningful conversation and shared purpose within our team.
- Create Action: Turn learning into impact through a giving initiative, wish-list drive, volunteer opportunity, or an ongoing partnership with Opening Doors.
