Epiphany Concert: Sounds of the Season! (on site)

The RInging Badgers Handbell Ensemble under the direction of Mark Bloedow, Artistic Director, will present their annual Sounds of the Season! Epiphany Concert at Sinsinawa Mound Center.

Art Gallery Exhibit: “The Serious Whimsey of Gail Chavenelle” (on site)

The exhibit includes Chavenelle’s metal figures of people, animals, nature, from a few inches high to as large as 60” as well as cutout framed pictures.  Bright colors, polished steel, rusted steel, and recycled swimming pool siding make for a colorful and delightful show.

The great monk, mystic, and writer Thomas Merton lived one of the most fascinating lives of the 20th century. But of all the years he lived, his last - 1968 - may have been his most wide-ranging and fascinating.
