Sister Mary Louise Wieseler, OP

Sister Mary Louise Wieseler, OP, has ministered in Wisconsin, Illinois, and California. Her religious name was Sister Bernardin. Sr. Mary Louise’s ministry has been dedicated to teaching. In Wisconsin, she taught at St. Rose, Milwaukee, 1954-1958. In Illinois, Sr. Mary Louise taught at St. Luke River Forest, 1958-1961; St. Mary Evanston, 1961-1968; and St. Vincent Ferrer, River Forest, 1968-1973. In California, she taught at St. Leo, Oakland, 1973-1983; All Saints, Los Angeles, 1983-1984; St. Louis Bertrand, Oakland, 1984-1986; School of the Madeleine, Berkeley, 1986-1991; and Corpus Christi, Piedmont, 1992-2008. Sr. Mary Louise is living in community with her Dominican Sisters in Footville, WI. Her home parish is St. Cecilia Cathedral, Omaha, NE.
