Sisters View Solar Eclipse

A total solar eclipse occurred April 8, and Sisters across the United States went outside to view the historic event. At Sinsinawa Mound (top, from left), Srs. Jo Ann Timmerman, Mary Liana Glynn, Mary Hopkins, and Sharron Bauer and (bottom left) at St. Dominic Villa, Srs. Patricia Brannan and Deb Bomyea were amazed by the partial eclipse seen in Wisconsin. At Prairie View Manor (bottom right), Sr. Bianca Madden was also impressed with the partial eclipse near Janesville. All who viewed the eclipse wore special glasses to protect their eyes. The next total solar eclipse will occur Aug. 23, 2044.
