Spring weather and resilient daffodils inspire life at St. Dominic Villa. We have gathered to enjoy wonderful monthly socials. In February, we celebrated Father Samuel Mazzuchelli, OP, with Italian foods, sodas, and a reading of one of his letters home to his father. The March gathering honored St. Patrick, and in April we had a show-and-tell theme that brought lighthearted reminiscence, a surprise visit from Rick Bieber of the Fields of Sinsinawa program, and ice cream sundaes.

We have been blessed in celebrating the lives of Mark O’Loughlin, OP; Mary Kent Pearson, OP; and Mary Lois Carey, OP. Our community has been blessed by the arrivals of Helen Hurley, OP; Virginia Helmann, OP; Lauretana Gorman, OP; and Sigrid Simlik, OP.
The weekly book club is enjoying Golden Bells in Convent Towers. Two scripture study groups reflect weekly on the readings. During Lent, we journeyed through the Stations of the Cross, spending a week reflecting as if we were in Mary’s shoes. What an interesting perspective that was! The Sinsinawa Mound community celebrates socials and Sunday liturgy with us. We are so blessed by their presence and look forward to seeing them. We had simply beautiful Holy Week and Easter celebrations.
